HR Manager

Department: Human Resources
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Dubai

General Job Description:

The HR Manager is required to oversee all aspects of recruiting, hiring and the orientation of new IFZA employees and must have a thorough knowledge of relevant labor legislation. The HR Manager role centers on ensuring the wellbeing of staff and the effective documentation of grievances, terminations, absences, performance reports and compensation and benefit information.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Management and Department Heads to author and advertise new job openings
• Liaise with recruitment agencies when necessary
• Under the guidance of Management, screen candidates and schedule interviews
• Conduct/attend interviews when requested
• Contact new employee references when requested
• Under the guidance of Management, author and send offer letters
• Ensure all new employees receive induction packs
• Complete and sign induction lists and file according to organisational guidelines
• Oversee the signing of all relevant employment documentation such as; employment contracts, applicable policies and acknowledgement of receipt forms
• Liaise with IFZA Academy on staff orientation and training requirements
• Liaise with the IT Department to ensure new employees are given the appropriate assets in line with organisational requirements
• Communicate with the Finance Department when necessary to update payroll details (bank details, start date etc)
• Work to ensure employee satisfaction and productivity
• Manage employee grievances
• Manage employee retention and turnover rates
• Develop and maintain performance management and improvement systems
• Maintain HR files and database as per organisational guidelines
• Work with relevant departments to ensure all staff visas are processed, ammended and cancelled in a timely manner
• Book flights for staff when requested by Management
• Issue salary certificates, employment certificates, bank NOCs and other required documents when requested
• Track and manage employee absences and update the Finance Manager at the end of each month for payroll purposes
• Ensure termination processes run smoothly with minimal discomfort for all concerned parties
• Other administrative work
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Management

Education and Training:
• Tertiary qualification in HR OR proven work experience as an HR Executive, HR Manager or similar role

Knowledge and Experience:
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws & regulations

Skills and requirements:
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM platforms
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Additional spoken languages are a plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Previous experience working in diverse organisations
